25th March Forever !

without comments

This is the day where my long lasting dream from 9 years came true.
In my life (hope it does in everyone’s life ) i can say some persons
inspire us a lot. They are none other than Father mother and guru
(for me gurus)!

I used to tell to my mother in my tenth class that “one day i will be in a big company, and i will take you there and make you sit in my chair and show the whole company with me.. “
The words, and dreams came true today !! :)
Today I took my parents to TCS, and showed the place where i work, the huge
buildings, and the corporate environment.

The happiness i saw in my mother gave me everlasting joy ! The burden I felt
in all the hardwork i have done till now gone in seconds. I felt i should do
and    i can do more for making my parents more happier and happiest!!:)
Not everything can be brought with money and power.

Though i made many mistakes in my life, with this i felt that i gave some
hapiness to my mother.

I really thank Tata Consultancy services and my ATC team for making giving
such a beautiful oppurtunity in my life.

long live TATA! :) :) :) :)

Terminal Tweaks !

without comments

I found out some useful tweaks from my guru’s pages
for terminal users. Coming to this topic what i found out is “apparix”!
Apparix is a tool or a shell script ( I call it as a tweak or a black box,
because for now i am not a shell expert to explore its working. soon i will)
May be it will be nice and good only if i forward you to my guru’s page for
using apparix. ( hopefully for me readers benifit is important ;) )

There is another tweak called “goto” where you can find the bashrc.goto
file, just source this file to your .bashrc file.
You can find more info on this too at the above url. :)

If you happen to find any tweaks or so, Please share with me.

@ GIT Users tweak !

For all the git users, my guru wrote a superb tweak for finding the status
of your respective git repos from the terminal. I can say with this, you can
save a lot of your time and get a snapshot of your git repo in seconds!
you can have a look at the screen shot and more info on this at

What Languages do you Know ?

without comments

Its coffee time at 4pm for me, so planning to have a coffee, meanwhile hearing the words of my guru (Mr.Sitaram garu) , where he took the code of C written for text parsing for a project and developed the same in using shell script in linux.probably i can say around 850 lines of C code was approx equal to around 30 lines of shell script!! i was shocked hearing that, and on the other side came to know the power of linux and Mr.Sitaram garu too!! ;)

Thinking about this i moved my steps to have a coffee..to my surprise ..Sita garu aslo came over there to have a coffee!! yupee nice time.. !! I was thinking in my mind by standing a few steps back from him …whether to have a coffee with him or .. take back my mind and leave that place.. Then i heard a voice  “Phani” !! Tension strikes to my heart!! Sita garu calling me!!! ???? never expected in my life!! So i went to him.. he asked me “What languages do u know??” Poor thing is my mind stopped working the minute he called me !! i was thinking at that moment !! gosh..such a situation!! :( I said in my trembling voice “C, Php, Java” ..He said good! and advised me to learn Ruby or Python..The situation was cool in minutes for me.. and he said one beautiful thing  “the choice of language is important” .. i felt i am learning many things from him !!..This line changed my attitude towards programming.. I felt like i should see things in the way they are usefull and not the other way round..

I am the most lucky person from VIT to work with a tech person like Sitaram garu ;)

Hope God Bless me with one more cup of coffee with him ;)
